Who this policy covers
This policy applies to information collected through trader-umr.com and the pages, tools, and contact channels linked from it. It does not cover information collected offline or by third-party sites, platforms, or services after you leave this site.
At the time this page was last updated, the site is primarily a content and tools site. It does not currently ask visitors to create user accounts or maintain public profiles on the site itself.
Information you choose to send directly
If you email, send a DM, or use the contact form, I receive the information you include in that message. That can include your name, handle, email address, message content, attachments, and any other details you decide to share.
If you ask about products, access, or support, that correspondence may also be kept long enough to reply properly, follow up, and keep a basic record of the conversation.
The contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message. I use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for spam and abuse; Cloudflare receives browser information through its widget, and the server sends the verification token and your IP address for verification. Mailgun processes the contact fields to deliver your message to my email inbox. Please avoid including sensitive information.
Information collected automatically when you browse
Like most websites, the hosting layer and related infrastructure may log standard technical request data when you visit the site. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, requested path, timestamps, and basic diagnostic data.
That information is used for ordinary site operations such as serving pages, keeping the site available, preventing abuse, troubleshooting errors, and understanding broad traffic patterns.
Browser storage and simulator share links
Your browser stores your theme choice in local storage so it can be restored on your next visit. The Equity Curve Simulator does not automatically save your working inputs across refreshes. The Prop Firm Simulator stores scenarios you choose to save in local storage. You can remove saved preferences and scenarios by clearing this site's browser storage.
When you copy a simulator share link, it includes scenario data in an encoded URL parameter. Encoding is not encryption: anyone with the link can read that setup. The URL may also appear in browser history, hosting logs or analytics. Do not include private information in shared setups.
Trader UMR Chrome extension
The Trader UMR Chrome extension is designed to help apply the UMR discount code on supported prop-firm checkout pages. It uses Chrome extension storage only for local preferences such as whether auto-apply is enabled, whether the floating widget is shown, widget position, panel state, and temporary per-site hiding.
The extension does not create a Trader UMR account, collect analytics, collect payment information, record order numbers, read card details, or send purchase details back to trader-umr.com. It runs only on the supported prop-firm domains declared in the extension manifest.
Use of information received from Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and analytics
I use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage information such as page URLs, referrers, device information and events. Vercel Analytics provides aggregate usage reports without analytics cookies. Both services process visit data; cookie-free does not mean no data collection.
Third-party requests and external links
This site loads typography from Google Fonts. When your browser requests font assets fromfonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com, Google may receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page making the request.
Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics may also receive request, device, page, referrer, and event data needed to provide traffic and performance reporting for the site.
The site also links out to social platforms, trading resources, and other third-party destinations. Examples include Twitter/X, YouTube, Discord, TradingView, Instagram, and other resource links listed on the site. Once you leave trader-umr.com, those third parties handle your information under their own terms and privacy policies.
How information is used
- To serve pages and keep the website working reliably.
- To reply to questions, support requests, or product inquiries you send directly.
- To remember your theme choice and scenarios you choose to save in your browser.
- To prevent abuse, investigate problems, and protect the site and its visitors.

Sharing, retention, and deletion
Trader UMR does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only to the extent reasonably necessary with service providers involved in hosting, infrastructure, communications, or external asset delivery, or when disclosure is required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
Direct messages and email records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain business records, or resolve disputes. Standard server or platform logs are typically retained under the policies and retention windows of the relevant provider. Theme preferences and saved scenarios remain in your browser until you remove them or clear the site storage.

- You can avoid sharing simulator URLs if you do not want scenario details copied into a link.
- You can block or limit third-party requests in your browser, though some visual features may change.

Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and Trader UMR does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. If you believe a child has provided personal information, make contact so it can be reviewed and removed where reasonably possible.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time if the site changes, new features are added, or legal and operational needs change. When the policy is updated, the date at the top of this page will be revised.
